Star of the Week
As it has been a short week, we have decided not to award Star of the Week.
Foundation 1/Nursery
I regret to inform you that Mrs Kerr will be leaving her post in the Nursery/Foundation 1 at the end of this term. She has been a working at the school for nearly eight years fulfilling a variety of different part time posts in Years 4 and 5 before she moved to her present position. I am sure you would wish her well in whatever she chooses to do in the future. If you would like to contribute to her leaving gift please send donations in a marked envelope to the School Office. This will be presented in Assembly on Friday 4th April.
French Day
Thank you for sending in the contributions for what has been a very successful day. All the children from Foundation 1 up to Year 6 have participated and learned more about France and hopefully have acquired some new French vocabulary. We are extremely grateful to Mrs Wills for all her hard work organising the day so soon after last week’s Sports Relief event.
Mobile Phones
I would like to remind parents that mobile phones must NOT be brought in to School. Any child who is found with a phone will have it confiscated and returned at the end of the week.
Year 6 Assembly
Year 6 will be taking assembly on Friday 4th April starting at 9.15am, parents are welcome to join us to support the children.
Discos Friday 4th April
Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children will be able to attend the disco starting at 1.15p.m. and finishing at 2.15p.m. A contribution of £1 is required and children will be provided with a drink and sweets.
The disco for Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 is from 6.00pm to 7.30pm. A contribution of £1 is required. Pizza and drinks will be on sale. Pizza will cost 50p and drinks will be between 30p and 50p. All money should be taken to Mrs Durrant in the Hall on Friday morning.
School will finish at 2.30p.m on Friday 4th April.
