Carnival

We have had a very good response from children wanting to participate in the carnival procession. all children from Foundation 1 to Year 6 are welcome to join us. We need a list of participants and we need to know if parents can be responsible for their own costumes or whether you need us to help you find something suitable. Please fill in the form at the foot of the special Carnival letter which your child has requested.

 

School Photographs

The photographer will be in School on Monday 23rd June to take a whole school photograph, there are still lots of permission slips which have not been returned. as a result we will use the Photographic Images Consent Forms held in the School Office.  If you do NOT wish your child to be photographed please notify the School Office by 08:45am Monday morning.

 

GREASE Performances

Year 6 are putting on two performances of 'Grease the Musical' and would like to invite parents, friends and family to watch. Tickets are currently on sale from the School Office. The performances are on Monday 7th July at 1:30pm and Wednesday 9th July at 7:00pm. Tickets are 50p each with children children under 5 free.

 

Holiday Cycling Programme

Bracknell Forest Council are running two cycle training courses during the summer for children aged 10 and above. The first will be held at Bracknell Leisure Centre from 11-15th August, the second one is a t Edgbarrow Sport Centre from 18th-22nd August. Places can be prebooked through the Bracknell Forest Road Safety  Team on 01344 352212, the cost if £15.

 

 

Maestros - Young Musicians Trust

Berkshire Maestros are running two 'Have a Go' eveningsfor children keen to learn a musical instrument. The events are being held on Tuesday 8th July at Emmbrook School between 5-7pm and on Wednesday 16th July at Brackenhale School between 5-7pm. If you are interested, leaflets are available from the School Office.
