Sports Day

Thank you to all the parents who attended and helped with the very smooth running of this annual event.  It was won by the team Avalon.  All the children participated, including those in Foundation 1 who contributed to the result.  Our gratitude goes to Mrs Wills for all the organisation and preparation.

Carnival

79 children and nearly 30 adults took part in the procession behind the magnificent dragon constructed by Ian Francis, Michelle Donoghue’s brother.  We had more children involved than any other entry but we were not as colourful as the winner.  Some parents are determined to do better next time.

Grease

Two successful performances of this very popular musical took place this week.  The children thoroughly enjoyed their time and put on a very good show.  Ms Milstead has been the lead adult on this project and she is to be congratulated for end result.

Ufton Court

Year five all arrived back safely from their three days at this Elizabethan Manor.  During this time they did archery, orienteering, looked for bats, made a model Tudor house and made a nosegay.  At the banquet they danced the ‘Pavanne’ and the ‘Gavotte’ during which they were complimented for following the steps so well with very few mistakes.
