The Zone After School Club was created to care for your children (aged 4 and above) after school and during the school holidays in a safe, developing and caring environment. The Zone is held in the nursery building and is run by teaching assistants and parents. Children can attend either on a regular basis or just occasionally perhaps when you are unable to collect them at 3.15pm.
After school, weather permitting, the children usually play outside before coming in for a welcome snack. There are then plenty of activities to keep them entertained, including arts and crafts, cooking and playing with the various games (including some rather fancy electronic ones). Or it's just the chance to have some quiet time doing homework, reading a book or watching a video. Activities will vary each day and each week to meet the children's physical, intellectual, cognitive and emotional needs.
The children who attend The Zone not only have a good time but more importantly are well cared for, giving you peace of mind whether you are at work or just taking a well-deserved break.

Facts and figures
Annual family registration is £10.00 per family (non-refundable). This must be renewed every September to cover the new academic year. Registration forms can be obtained from the school office or from The Zone at the end of the school day.
The following costs are per session per child. These fees must be paid fortnightly in advance. Ad-hoc bookings will be accepted if places are available, but must be paid for at the time of booking.
After school:
3.15pm - 6pm £6.50
Reductions are given for siblings attending the same sessions. The fee includes a snack, usually toast spreads, beans or spaghetti on toast, hot dogs, fruit, biscuits and juice.
Half-terms and holidays:
The fee includes juice and biscuits, which are provided at 10.30am. Packed lunches must be provided for children attending morning and all day sessions. PLEASE MAKE SURE CONTENTS OF LUNCH BOXES DO NOT NEED REFRIDGERATION AS WE HAVE NO FACILITY FOR THIS.
