Year 2 Assembly

 

I am sure that everyone enjoyed the assembly this morning.  The children were able to share their learning with the whole school.

 

 

 

Foundation Stage Assembly

 

Nursery and Reception Assembly which was due to be on Friday 7^th March has been cancelled.  It will be re-arranged for a later date.

 

 

 

Parents Evening

 

Parents Evening will be held on Thursday 6^th March starting at 2.20.  The Appointment lists are now available on the windows outside the School Office.

 

 

 

World Maths Day

 

World Maths day is being held on 5^th March.  A Maths Trail for the children has been organised and various other events will be running during the day.

 

 

 

Working Party

 

On Sunday the 9^th March we have organised a painting and gardening working party which will run from 10.00 until 2.00 at the School.  Please come along, even if only for an hour, to help improve the appearance of the school.  Food and music will be provided - all we are looking for is willing helpers!

 

 

 

Sports Relief

 

On Friday the 14^th March we are going to organise our own ‘run a mile’.  To make this a little more interesting we will be setting a course on Wildmoor Heath.  The run will be a Treasure Trail where children have to find ten objects hidden along the trail. We hope that parents will also become involved in the Treasure Trail.  Each child will need to bring a contribution of £1 to participate in this event.

 

  

 

Friday 21^st to Monday 24^th  Easter weekend

 

 

 

The School will be closed on Friday 21st April and Monday 24^th April for Easter weekend.  School will re-open on Tuesday 25^th April.  School will close at 3.15 on Friday and re-open at 8.50 on Tuesday. 

 

 

 

French Day

 

Friday the 28^th March will be French Day.  If there are any parents, grandparents, older brothers or sisters who might be able to help with this day please speak to Mrs Wills.     Full details of the day will be sent out later.

 

 

 

Booster Seat

 

Have you borrowed one of our booster seats to transport children to a sporting event?  We have lost one of our seats and feel sure that someone has just forgotten to bring it back.
